Southern African Hypertension Society

SAHS extends its sincere appreciation to the delegates, faculty and industry partners who contributed to the success of the SAHS Biennial Congress, held from 14–16 August 2026.

Over the course of the two-and-a-half-day CPD-accredited programme, more than 400 delegates attended the Congress. Under the theme “A Lifecourse Perspective on Hypertension,” local and international experts addressed hypertension prevention and management across the lifespan, including its relationship with cardiovascular and kidney disease, stroke, obesity and genetics.

The Congress advanced SAHS’s commitment to reducing hypertension-related morbidity and mortality through education, awareness and research.
