Scope of the fund


Geographic: South Africa initially,Southern Africa ultimately.
Clinical entity: Circulatory disease related to atherosclerosis and associated risk factors and complications.
Type of research: Clinical basic science and epidemiological research specifically excluding drug trails.

   Objectives   

  • To establish and administer a regional research fund that promotes research into circulatory disorder mainly related to atherosclerosis, its related risk factors and complications.
